Recipe: Almond milk
- 1/2 cup blanched almonds
- 2 to 2-1/2 cups water, depending on how thick you like it
- 2 tsp honey to sweeten (optional)
- Place almonds in a blender or kitchen processor.
- Add honey if being used and one cup of water.
- Blend until a smooth cream forms.
- Add the remaining water and continue blending for several minutes. (Blend until most of the pulp is gone.)
- Strain well.
