Almond or Badam Milk

Recipe: Almond milk


  • 1/2 cup blanched almonds
  • 2 to 2-1/2 cups water, depending on how thick you like it
  • 2 tsp honey to sweeten (optional)


  1. Place almonds in a blender or kitchen processor.
  2. Add honey if being used and one cup of water.
  3. Blend until a smooth cream forms.
  4. Add the remaining water and continue blending for several minutes. (Blend until most of the pulp is gone.)
  5. Strain well.
