Recipe: Stuffing


  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage or 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning,
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • 3-4 cups cooked rice


  1. Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil on very low heat until onion is translucent
  2. Add salt, pepper, and other seasoning to mixture and stir
  3. Pour onion/mushroom mixture into cooked rice and fold in until blended
  4. Either stuff bird with rice mixture before roasting, or put mixture into a covered casserole and bake at 325 degrees F for about 45 minutes to an hour.
