Recipe: Turkey breakfast sausage

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground lean turkey
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp summer savoury
  • 1/2 tsp blackpepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 egg or 1 egg replacer or other binder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil for coating cast iron pan or nonstick pan.

Instructions:

  1. Mix ingredients together well
  2. Form into patties
  3. Fry for 3 minutes on each side, turning once
  4. Freeze any uncooked leftover patties
  5. Can be baked as well.
