Recipe: Grilled Apples
- 2 – 3 Granny Smith or other tart baking apples, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 Tbs brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbs butter
- Combine the sliced apples, cranberries, maple syrup, sugar, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and toss to combine. Place the mixture on a large piece of aluminum foil, or on 4 to 6 smaller pieces of aluminum foil, dot with the butter, and fold the foil into a packet or packets.
- Grill over medium hot coals for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve in the packets or remove the contents to a serving bowl.
