Wild Rice Meat Loaf

Recipe: Wild Rice Meat Loaf

Ingredients :

  • 4 cups wild rice — cooked
  • 1 pound lean ground beef — uncooked
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup onion — finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs — beaten
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions :

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Firmly press into a greased 9x5x3″ loaf pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 70 min. Cover with foil during the last 15 minutes if the top is browning too quickly.
