Crock Pot Venison Stew

Recipe: Crock Pot Venison Stew

Ingredients:

  • 2 pound venison, cubed
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 3 each celery, stalks, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 each garlic, cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 salt, to taste
  • 1 pepper, to taste
  • 1 oregano 1 basil

Instructions:

  1. Brown meat in oil. Place celery and onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add browned meat and remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook on low for 7-10 hours.
