Recipe: Good’N Easy Stew

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds lean stewing beef — cut in 1 1/2″ chunks
  • 1 1.5 oz envlp dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup sauterne wine — or
  • beef broth 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup — or cream of celery soup 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained — optional

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in Crock-Pot.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours .
  3. If desired, thicken gravy.
