Recipe: Veggie-Bean Sloppy Joes


  • 1 md Onion chopped
  • 1 md Green pepper chopped
  • 3 c Cooked brown rice
  • 2 16 oz. cans Mexican style Pinto beans
  • 3/4 c Barbeque sauce
  • Buns, rolls, corn bread


  1. What ever you’d like to put Underneath Saute onions and green peppers until tender crisp.
  2. Add rice, beans, and barbeque sauce. Simmer 10-15 minutes until heated through. Serve over your choice of rolls/bread.
