Recipe: Creamy basil dip


  • 250g pkt light cream cheese, chopped
  • 90g (1/3 cup) reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1 bunch fresh basil, leaves chopped
  • 2 tbs pine nuts
  • 1 shallot, trimmed, thinly sliced


  1. Process the cream cheese, sour cream, basil, pine nuts and shallot in a food processor until just combined and the basil is finely chopped.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
